Orleans offers the perfect spot to have a great getaway. There are both bayside and an ocean beach as well as fresh water ponds and a village area. Orleans is also perfectly located on the elbow of the Cape making it ideal for day trips to Chatham, Provincetown, Nantucket, Marthas Vinyard and the rest of Cape Cod. Orleans also has a great selection of motels, condos and vacation rental homes. Orleans vacation rentals are privately owned homes / properties in town. Most of those who want to be by a beach will need to rent a vacation rental home as the motels and condos are more centrally located. However that is not a bad thing either. That means that the bike trail, restaurants and shops are nearby. So you can’t loose by spending your vacation in Orleans.
