Vacation Rental FAQ

Helpful Links & Information

Do I need to bring linens?  Blankets and pillows are typically provided.  You would need to either bring or rent your own sheets and towels.  Sheets are never put on beds, even if rented.
For linen rentals other than what we offer you can go to:

For baby equipment and crib rentals:

Are paper products provided?  Typically there is a starter supply of paper products at the beginning of the rental season at each property but as the season goes on they are less and less frequent.   Tenants are asked to replace what is used.  Tenant should be prepared to provide paper towels, napkins, toilet paper, soaps, etc. for their stay.

Internet service:  All of our homes have high speed internet access and most have WIFI.  Each homeowner is responsible for testing the connection and leaving directions for use in plain view for the tenants.  We are not responsible or able to help with internet connectivity issues that may arise.

How to get beach stickers?  At most beaches you can purchase a daily or weekly parking pass.  You can visit each town’s beach sticker details by clicking on the following links.

How do I check in?  At most properties tenants are required to check in at our office that is located at 158 Rte. 6A in Orleans.  If you are renting in Chatham or Harwich you can go directly to the property and there will be someone at the property to check you in.  Please bring a picture ID and your completed lease agreement upon check in.  Check in time is typically 3 PM and check out time is typically 10 AM.  This is always the case during July and August rentals and can be changed for off season rentals upon written and agreed upon request.

What are the check out responsibilities?  The tenant is required to leave the property in the condition it was found.  However the tenant is not responsible for doing a thorough cleaning upon departure.  All of our rentals require a cleaning fee to be paid by the tenant, this way the property is cleaned before arrival and upon departure by a professional.  The tenant is responsible for leaving the house tidy, neat and as we call it “broom swept” with the dishes cleaned and put away, all trash put in barrels provided at the property and to take out all of their belongings.
